CHRISTOPHER H. LOVELOCK

Sadly, the Forum Board recently lost one of its members. Christopher Lovelock died at his home on February 24. Christopher was a man of boundless energy, bursting with ideas and actions. One, the study of road signage in Eastham, has been discussed in previous editions of the Forum Notes. We hope that the town will make good use of the information and suggestions that he and Bud France worked so hard to gather and propose.

An Eastham resident since 1990, Christopher provided professional expertise to local organizations involved in education, health care, conservation, and transportation as well as the Eastham Forum. Many read his Op Ed articles in the Cape Cod Times where his ideas on transportation were particularly insightful.

Christopher's influence extended far beyond Eastham. He was an adjunct professor at Yale's School of Management and he had also taught at the Harvard Business School as well as at universities in Switzerland, France, Australia and various other places around the world. He authored numerous books and articles on marketing and services. He will be sorely missed by many.
